Welcome!

Welcome to the website for the Denise Youngs Annual Memorial Poker Run.

Denise passed away after a short and courageous battle with lung cancer on December 5th, 2006 at age 50. Denise was a long time motorcycle enthusiast and Harley rider who traveled all over the United States with her husband of 30 years, Ron. Denise was a loving mother, aunt and friend who donated her time and energy to many charities and fund raisers. Denise inspired many of her fellow women riders to ride and expierence new adventures. The poker run and this web page are dedicated to help keep Denise's memory alive and to assist local cancer patients and help fund cancer research so that one  day there will be a cure. I believe there are angels among us.

RIDE FOREVER DENISE !!!!!!!!

To make a difference in someones life, you don't have to be brilliant, rich, beautiful or perfect. You just have to care.

Most of my money was spent on motorcycles, women and booze. The rest I  just wasted.

          Motorcycle Wisdom

=Only a biker knows why a dog sticks his head out of a car window.
=Four wheels move the body. Two wheels move the soul.
=You start the game with a full pot luck and an empty pot of experience.
=The object is to fill the pot of experience before you empty the pot of luck.
=If you wait, all that happens is you get old. =Saddlebags can never hold everything you want but they can hold everything you need.
=Sometimes it takes a whole tank of fuel before you can think straight.
=Never hesitate to drive past the last street light at the edge of town.
=Young drivers pick a destination and go. Old drivers pick a direction and go.
=People are like motorcycles, each is customized differently.
=Catching a yellow jacket in your shirt at 70 mph can double your volcabulary.
=There is something ugly about a New bike on a trailer.
=
If you can't get it going with bugee cords, wire or duct tape, it must be serious.
=Never race an old geezer, he may have one more gear than you.
=Whatever it is, it is better in the wind.
=The best alarm clock is sunshine on chrome.
= There are two kinds of people in the world: those that ride motorcycles and those that don't.
